This luminaire is about connection.The piece is constructed only with joinery connections and no adhesives. Figuratively,the act at home, by the user
drives a stronger connection between user and object.It is not meant to be brought homewhole, but instead assembled,modified,and crafted by the user to their own specifities.
This approach to object-user connection allows the user to transcend that title and join the craft and creation of their own piece however they see fit. What’s shown is only a suggestion, but the possibilities are endless. It is made entirely of laser cut chipboard, so it is highly affordable, recyclable, and sustainably produceed. It can be packed entirely flat and shipped,moved,tossed around and still last a lifetime.
